Greetings from Orlando!!!

So.... Today we officially began our annual vacation in Orlando, Florida for Caeden's Spring Break.  We actually left out yesterday and drove down.  Peerless , Caeden, and Mimi all teamed up to convince me that the best thing for us would be to drive down instead of flying.  Now, I don't know how road trips go in your car, but I just wasn't too stoked about spending seven hours in the car with the oldest girl, that baby, the daddy, and the Mimi all fighting....incessantly... did I mention that it was for seven hours????  Welllllll....  Thank God for small miracles, because there was only a brief period of argument--at the very end of the trip.  The oldest girl got a bit antsy and started acting, well, like that oldest girl does.  She really did do well in the car, when I put things into perspective.  We left Atlanta--as planned--at 9:30.  By 12 :30, we were still in Atlanta!!!  The powers that be the Georgia DOT decided it was a GOOD idea to close four lanes of the interstate on the weekend 95% of Georgia schools went on Spring Break.  Great idea?? Not so much.

Nevertheless, we made it to Orlando without any other additional incident, and began our fun this morning.  Mimi headed over to the pool with the girls (no, Kai didn't get in at first, but about midway through, she was all into getting wet!!!)  Peerless stayed and soaked in a little NBA action while I ran to the grocery to get the necessities:  food for the week, snacks and drinks, and A LOT OF SWEETS TO REPLENISH ALL OF THE SUGAR WE HAVE MISSED OUT ON FOR THE LAST 40 DAYS!!!  Finally, after getting things at the condo settled, P and I headed over to the waterpark with the girls and BOY did we have a BLAST!!!

Caeden entered--and won (well, her and one other little girl won)--the hula hoop contest in the 8 and over age group!!!  We were so proud!!!!  When she ran to tell Mimi about her placement in the contest the husband goaded me into trying my hand at the adult competition.  I did...and I'm proud to say I represented the Price quartet pretty darn fabulously!  I (along with the mother of the little girl Caeden co-won with) won the adult division!!!  WOOO HOOOO.

The husband was on pool duty with the girls, and they made sure to keep him going, and going, and going, and going....  All in all, it was a very relaxing, uneventful day.  But we were together, and that means more than anything else.

<---Kai Baby decided to try on Caeden's goggles...and looked like a fly.
